With Jay-Z venturing into new territories with the established Creative Artist Agency and Beyonce set for a world tour starting next week, the power couple will definitely be racking up the bucks this year!
Jay-Z is looking to become a "certified agency" with the signing of Yankee star player, Robinson Cano. Earlier this week, Cano announced the firing of former manager Scott Boras and the replacement of new agency headed by the franchise himself, Mr. Sean Carter. As the Yankees have been hit with abundantly bad news lately, the shocking decision is only music to their ears as this only means a new deal with Cano.With Robinson as his first sports client, Jay-Z has partnered up with C.A.A. to establish the new sports agency known as none other than Roc Nation Sports. Jigga's new agency is now legit having officially filed the certification papers with the Major League Baseball Player Association on Tuesday April 2nd. Get em' Hov!

In further news, Jay-Z continues his life winning streak as the executive producer of The Great Gatsby soundtrack, following the movie scheduled to hit the boxes May 10th (Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Miguire, and Carey Mulligan). The soundtrack will of course feature the lovely Mrs. Carter, set to cover the late great Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black" featuring the legendary Andre 3000. The original track is brilliant and notably one of my favs performed by Amy.
Beyonce is also currently working on her fifth solo album said to be released later this year, in addition to her gearing up for her world tour taking off next week in Serbia.
Now that's what I call a POWER couple!
