Now we all know Tiara Thomas was not too familiar to us until she featured on Wale's smash hit "Bad", which was indeed a chart topper. The two promoted the single all over the U.S. from stages such as Jimmy Fallon show to the House of Blues in LA. But shortly after the start of their nationwide promo performances, Wale started to appear on stages solo with NO SIGN of Ms. Tiara Thomas. Even at one the biggest shows of the year, Summer Jam 2013 in New York, Tiara Thomas was again a no-show.
Well after a bit of research, it became apparent that Ms. Thomas has signed with a new label (Interscope), after jumping ship from Wale's Board of Administration.
In digging a little deeper into this "Bad" beef, it was noticed that a few weeks ago Wale hinted on the facts of Tiara Thomas skating on him and here is what he tweeted:
However even after being left in the dark, Wale holds no grudges against Ms. Thomas as he stated in a recent interview:
“I was a causality in the game. The bitter reality just hit me but its all good. Shout out to Tiara Thomas……She just did what she thought was best in her best interest. I guess that’s what all people’s gonna do. Shout out to her and her situation. She talented, she dope so if you wanna support her, you jus’ support her. I’m not gonna throw no shade to her, it jut is what is. I earned. she’ll have a great career.”(Maybe THIS is why we got that "Bad Remix" Featuring Rihanna? )
Even though Wale doesn't seem to be bitter about what has happened, a member of his squad sure isn't too happy about Tiara Thomas' shady antics. Meet Miss "Rici" :
